Villa Vito

Villa Vito Ristorante : Serving Authentic Italian food for over 40 years While many New Hope restaurants have changed over the past 40 years, Villa Vito Ristorante continues to serve the same authentic, delicious food this community has enjoyed for decades. It is owned and operated by the Favoroso Family. Its home-style meals were created by the family matriarch, Florence Favoroso, and her recipes are still used daily. Joey Favoroso, one of Florence's sons, worked at Villa Vito's as a teenager before his family bought this restaurant, being the first Favoroso to work there. Villa Vito is reminiscent of those restaurants that you would discover in older ethnic neighborhoods of Philadelphia, New York, or Boston's North End. This restaurant is not defined by culinary trends, but instead by cooking traditions and generations of families that have come here to eat and enjoy it as a place that takes you back to your childhood memories of holidays with loving relatives and cherished friends, with the hope of making your own new family memories. Villa Vito is a warm, cozy, friendly place to eat with family and friends. It continues to use fresh ingredients in its Italian and American dishes. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of dishes ranging from soups, salads, and sandwiches to gourmet pizzas, entrees, and delicious Italian homemade desserts, like tiramisu, Zuppa Inglese, and Florence's homemade pizzelles. Its entire menu is available all day, but you can also select its daily lunch special. This includes a sandwich with soup or salad or French fries or onion rings for just $8.95. You can also receive a great deal on its dinner special of chicken marsala or chicken parmesan at $10.95. Plus another dinner special includes veal marsala or veal parmesan for only $14.95. Both specials are delicious, as are the many homemade pastas, such as gnocchi and cavatelli. There are so many goof selections at Villa Vita that you'll have trouble finding a favorite. Everything on the menu is available for take out as well. During the cooler months, you can dine by the fireplace. When it gets warmer, you can look forward to sipping a glass of wine "al fresco" on the patio and outside bar if you want to extend your visit to Villa Vito, simply walk downstairs to Michael Kelly's Irish Pub. The Favoroso Family reopened this bar and named it after their nephew, now 22-years-old. It's a tribute to the Irish roots of their family tree. At Michael Kelly's, you can enjoy a cheerful, old fashioned bar atmosphere with a friendly bartender and service in a quaint and rustic setting (the building dates back to 1860 ). Choose from many favorite Irish beers on ta[, such as Guinness, Smithwick's, and Magners Irish Cider. You can also select from various liquors or the newest trends in cocktails, like a tiramisu martini or a B52. The bar is now open late at night. Villa Vito has a party room that accommodates 40 people inside and 50+ people outside, both ideal for weddings, birthday parties, pub-crawls, and any other special occasion. It also offers off-site catering and will custom-tailor a menu according to you and your guest's unique tastes and preferences. Visit www.villavito.com for reasonable rates on its party menu.
